Modern Dance

“A style of free and expressive theatrical dancing not bound by the classical rules of ballet.”

 

Modern dance was developed in the beginning of the 20th century and this technique based genre is the perfect choice for dancers who require basic technical skills but are intimidated by the formality of the ballet genre.

The styles of lyrical and jazz are incorporated into our Modern Dance training as well as elements of broadway and stage performance.

We teach Modern classes from Tots level  to Advanced 2

Class times vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour once to twice per week depending on grade.
